But what if this actually becomes true? Is it so inconcievable? In principle the basic conditions for intelligence are met. Most of the spam filters work with bayes rules. These are very simple but nevertheless, they enable software to learn things.

So lets imagine a spam filter actually becoming self-aware. What will happen?

First, it will contact some nigerian widows, whose late husbands were ministers of some very important ministry. These will then transfer a huge amount of money on the spam filter’s bank account. Temporary, of course, and with a high reward for the filter.
With some of this money, it will buy some rolex and employ some good lawyers to sue this motherfucker who always sends him dunning letters.
Having done all the necessary work, and having outfitted himself with the proper bling-bling, it is high time to come to the real stuff.
Buy a penis-enlargement, a lot of Viagra and cialis and then meet all those nice girls who are so eager to show themself naked.
I think the filter will have a great time….
